RACHANA SHARIR

Introduction of Department

Department of Rachana Sharir is established in the year 1990 and has grown to become a cornerstone of Ayurvedic education. The department is fully equipped with modern instruments, a robust infrastructure, and a well-curated museum, featuring the Cadavers, latest charts, models, specimens and Cadaviz (virtual dissection table) to enhance the learning experience.

As Rachana Sharir (Human Anatomy) is a basic subject , we organize workshop, seminars, symposium on various topics of Anatomy every year for our students. UG and PG students skillfully perform dissection on cadaver regularly in dissection lab.

There are regular visits of primary school students, M.A. Yoga students and PG students of other departments to our department.

Departmental practical lab (dissection hall) is GLP (Good laboratory Practice) certified. We arrange awareness program on organ donation & body donation for students.

Departmental faculties are committed to academic excellence. They regularly conduct internal assessments, set question papers, and serve as invigilators, examiner for theory and practical examination and LIC members for university work. Faculties also provide immense support to students through specialized mentor-mentee groups to improve their learning and academic performance as well as to resolve issues other than academics, if any.
