Ayurvedic Gynecologists take essential care of above said issues with safe Ayurvedic therapies and medicines. This department has well equipped ward, operation theater and labour room with all supportive diagnostic tools like ultrasound, x-ray machine, Non-stress test (NST) unit etc. Faculty is efficiently handling all types of emergencies in the hospital and also performs necessary surgeries. Our department is well known in Pune & state, for treating patients using Ayurvedic gynecological treatments. The PG students of the department take up research topics which are socially oriented.

• Ayurvedic local treatments are done here very routinely. They consists of Uttarbasti (intrauterine instillation of medicines), Yonidhavan (vaginal douche with ayurvedic decoctions), pichoo (medicated tampons for vaginal application); Basti Chikitsa (medicated decoctions & oil enemata).
