We are delighted to connect with you through the Department of Panchakarma, which is dedicated to promoting the holistic healing traditions of Ayurveda and advancing its relevance in the modern world. Established in 1991, the department began with a modest 250 sq. ft. facility for BAMS student training. With the inception of the Panchakarma Unit in 2008 and the development of a new academic building, it now operates in a well-equipped 1200 sq. ft. space. We offer Undergraduate (BAMS), Postgraduate (MD in Panchakarma) since 2014, and Ph.D. programs since 2021-22. Currently, five Ph.D. scholars are pursuing research under three faculty guides. The department admits six PG students annually and is supported by experienced faculty committed to academic excellence and clinical proficiency. Our department features a dedicated OPD/IPD, separate male and female Panchakarma theatres, and well-maintained wards in a charitable hospital affiliated with the college. We conduct regular Vamana and Basti Shibirs, as well as seasonal Vasantik Vaman Shibir for preventive care. With a strong foundation in education, research, and clinical service, we strive to shape skilled and compassionate Ayurvedic professionals. Together, let us work towards a golden future in Ayurveda.
